Crankshaft centering machine

CEMB’s high-precision dynamic mass centering machine for crankshafts provides the geometric coordinates needed for precise and correct drilling of centers to optimize the final balancing process.

Features

  • High-precision centering: the machine uses a dynamic centering system with two independent supports and high-precision centering spindles, ensuring accurate clamping of the motor shaft’s raw pins.
  • Adaptability to different lengths: drive shafts of various lengths can be machined due to the ability to move the spindles and supports along the pallet guides, offering great versatility.
  • Intelligent balancing software: advanced software calculates the displacement of the mass axis based on the detected imbalance, providing the geometric coordinates needed for precise drilling of centers. In addition, the machine includes an automatic bobeweight compensation system, ensuring efficient and accurate setup.
  • Reduced final imbalance: by using the mass axis as a reference during machining, the machine ensures a significant improvement in the balance of the finished part.
  • Feedback for process optimization: the machine can receive feedback from the balancer located at the end of the line, enabling it to optimize the machining process to ensure increasingly accurate results continuously.
